2014 Beneteau Vicsail NSW State Sabot Sailing Championships - Glorious weather on the Lane Cove River saw a clean 1pm start to the Mink Pink Dash for Cash which saw over 50 Sabots race for a large cash pot sponsored by Mink Pink Clothing. The Dash for Cash is a scratch sprint race which gets all competitors out to the States race course on Sydney Harbour. The local Lane Cove 'River Rats' claimed the cash taking the first three positions in the One Ups.

Following the Dash for Cash the 2014 Beneteau Vicsail NSW State Sabot Championships started with two races in a light North easterly. Leading the first day of racing is Jed Flatches from Wangi Amateau Sailing club followed by Henry Larkings (Lane Cove) and Thomas Steenson (Belmont 16's). Catlin Hartnett and Tanya Roberts (Drummoyne) with two bullets have the lead in the Two Ups.

The regatta has received great support from the following sponsors, Beneteau, Vicsail Sydney, Gill, Harken, RW Basham, Sydney by Sail, Michael Bartley Shipwrights, Kinder Chocolate, Club Marine and Sydney Sailmakers.
