Chris Poole new number one Open Match Racer in U.S.

Chris Poole (Portland, Maine) and his Riptide Racing Team has become the number one Open U.S. match racer on the strength of several wins at 2014 Oakcliff events and a strong second place at the 2014 Detroit Cup.

Don Wilson (Chicago, IL) and Steve Lowery (Chicago, IL) stand at number two and three with several strong finishes at the Chicago Match Race Center. Dave Storrs (Southport, CT) moves into the number four spot with a fourth place finish at the Knickerbocker Cup, and David Niemann (Madison, WI) rounds out the top five with a second at the York Cup.

Stephanie Roble (East Troy, WI) and her Epic Racing team hold onto the number one spot among U.S. women match racers, and remain number three in the world, by winning the 2014 US Womens Match Race Championship (USWMRC) and finishing third in the 2014 Worlds.

Nicole Breault (San Francisco, CA), Katie Maxim (San Francisco, CA) and Sandy Hayes (Scituate, MA) remain numbers two, three and four by virtue of their finishes in that order at the 2014 USWMRC. And Madeline Gill (Westport, CT) moves into the fifth spot, with her fifth place finish at the USWMRC.
