Safer Boating Week from October 17 -24 is a call to action for boaties to get ready for the summer boating season. Coastguard Boating Education is committed to ensuring the safety of all boaties who venture onto the water and is proud to be part of the sector-wide initiative.
To support Safer Boating Week, Coastguard Boating Education is pleased to be able to provide a Course Combo Deal over the campaign. Any student who books on either a classroom based or Home Study course during Safer Boating Week will also receive at no extra cost, an online Maritime VHF Radio Operator Certificate course. This significant offer is a major incentive for boaties to improve their boating knowledge and to know what they’re doing when on the water.
In addition to the opportunity to up-skill their knowledge, participants will also go into a draw to win a boating safety pack containing the following essential boating equipment; 1 x large Hutchwilco grab bag, 2 x adult-sized inflatable lifejackets, 2 x children’s-sized Mariner Classic lifejackets, 1 x Flare pack and 1 x First Aid Kit. These items valued at over $800, have been generously donated by New Zealand’s premiere manufacturer and distributor of marine goods, Hutchwilco, who are proud supporters of Coastguard Boating Education.
