Superior prepares for Monaco Yacht Show debut

Superior will be attending the 24th edition of the world’s largest on-water show devoted to superyachts, in the idyllically situated deep-water port of Port Hercule, Monaco, 24 to 27 September.

'This is our first time exhibiting in Monaco,' says Superior CEO, John Hogan. 'We manufacture several floatation products that have achieved success internationally and Monaco is the best place to introduce them to the prestige end of the market.'

Among their products is the new Waterscape project, the world-first commercial and domestic adaptive floating system (AFS) recently patented and launched in Australia.


Created by Hogan and architect, Alexander Lotersztain at Derlot Pty Ltd, Waterscape shines the spotlight on the 'water appeal' of a home or venue. Waterscape will be unveiled to European audiences in Monaco and is bound to intrigue and enchant a diverse range of users: architects, home owners, fashion houses, waterfront hotels and venues.

'Waterscape is visually arresting and innovative in its versatility,' explains Hogan. 'It adds another dimension to waterfront living and entertaining and we see a myriad of applications for yacht clubs, marina precincts, luxury homes and hotels. Anywhere there is a body of still water, Waterscape will extend the usage and enjoyment of the on-water experience.'


Superior will be part of the AIMEX contingent of manufacturers and businesses flying the flag for Australian ingenuity and making valuable connections with the 34,000 international visitors – the yachting professionals and high nett worth individuals who attend each year.

Created in 1991, the show has grown to become the ultimate luxury rendezvous for elite clientele. In addition to 115 superyachts and megayachts from 25 to 100 metres, there will be 500 exhibitors on the docks, including yacht builders, brokers, yacht designers, nautical suppliers, refit shipyards, luxury brands and service providers, tenders or yachting federations and associations.


Under the auspices of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, the 24th MYS boasts a plethora of glamorous events and networking opportunities. AIMEX will host several events and facilitate meetings with key personnel during the four days.

'We are looking forward to presenting Waterscape to a discerning market, seeking innovation and a fun sense of place,' says Hogan.
