Jessica Cooke from Surbiton, Surrey has been chosen as the winner of the RYA Publications - Simon Bornhoft windsurfing competition.

Jessica wins a thrilling ride on a Starboard tandem windsurfer with internationally acclaimed windsurfing coach and RYA author, Simon Bornhoft and a one-day Windwise coaching session, also with Simon, in 2015. She also receives signed copies of the RYA's Intermediate and Advanced Windsurfing books written by Simon, as well as a free login to both titles in their eBook formats.

'It was one of those competitions I never thought I would win as the prize sounded amazing!

'I’m very excited to spend some time with one of the best coaches on the UK windsurfing scene; I really hope I don't fall in! Hopefully I'll finally be able to master planing and become a much better instructor myself', commented Jessica.

The competition was launched to celebrate the completion of the RYA Windsurfing eBook series and coincides with National Watersports Festival (NWF) which takes place 05-07 September in Hayling Island, where Jessica will get to enjoy her tandem windsurfing session with Simon.

Jessica’s Windwise coaching session will also give her the perfect opportunity to accelerate her windsurfing skills with a proven and effective coaching system, as well as find out how to eradicate any bad habits and develop her core skills to really enhance her windsurfing.

Simon Bornhoft is the author of RYA Intermediate and RYA Advanced Windsurfing Handbooks and both the RYA Intermediate and RYA Advanced Windsurfing eBooks that bring training points to life through video and animations.
