2014 4x4 Outdoors Show and Fishing and Boating Expo - New features and exhibits of the National 4x4 Outdoors Show and Fishing and Boating Expo have proven an early success with thousands of people flocking to the opening day at the Melbourne Showgrounds in brilliant sunny conditions.

'We are on track for one of our biggest opening days ever and there is an amazing vibe at the show this morning,' Paul Mathers, Event Director said.

'There is a variety of things for people to see and do at the Show this weekend with hundreds-of-thousands of products on display from over 230 exhibitors, celebrity guests, informative talks as well as the aptly named Action Arena and new features such as the 4WD Proving Ground and Campfire Cooking Corner.'



'With Father's Day only a fortnight away, thousands of people have visited the Show today to find something special for Dad and snap up the Show specials.

'We expect the weekend to be equally as busy and really encourage visitors to catch public transport to avoid traffic congestion - having said that, parking is available at the Showgrounds,' he continued.

The National 4x4 Outdoors Show and Fishing and Boating Expo will run until 5pm this Sunday, showcasing the latest in fishing, boating, camping, outdoors and adventure.

One lucky visitor to this years Show will win a fully-loaded Isuzu MU-X LS-M off-roader valued at over $60,000 to be given away, thanks to Isuzu Ute and Opposite Lock.

Tickets are priced at $18 for adults, $13 for senior and pensioner concession, with kids under 15 free. A two day adult pass is also available for $30.

The 2014 National 4x4 Outdoors Show and Fishing and Boating Expo will be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds from August 22-24, please go to website for further information.
