Join the AON Racing boys this Saturday from 4:30pm after the winter series at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron for the official launch of Aon Racing.

Aon Racing will be putting on food and refreshments after a good day out on the water for all that would like to join. The 'Aon 18' will be outside the Squady for everyone to take a look at and see how cool these boats really are.

Aon Racing formerly known as 'FMJ Racing' is skippered by William Tiller with crew Harry Thurston, Shaun Mason, Stewart Dodson and Brad Farrand.

The team have found success in match racing in previous years but have switched their attention to the fast and exciting and at times extremely challenging 18 foot skiff class.

The focus is the 2015 JJ Giltinan Trophy contested in Sydney Harbour. The regatta hasn't been won by a Kiwi team in 40 years. No pressure boys!

Other Aon Racing boats include the TP52 Mayhem, the foiling SL33 Stratis and the young 88 Raging Hormones. These boats are leaders in their respective classes and race frequently.

Follow this young kiwi team looking to stamp their mark on the sailing world, and don't forget to get down to the Squady this Saturday from 4:30pm!
