Mercury Marine is proud to welcome aboard its newest dealership - Good Times Marine.

Based at Taren Point, just south of Sydney, Good Times Marine is a thriving business which specialises in trailer boats - from luxury bowriders and premium cabin boats to all-purpose runabouts, fishing boats and tinnies.

Dealer principal Derek Rodway opened the doors in 2007. 'We always intended to focus on trailer boats in that 13 to 21 foot category. We’ve made that our specialist niche and our name’s really getting out there – business is good,' Derek said.

So why, after considerable success, did Derek turn to Mercury?

'There are any number of reasons why we think Mercury is the best,' Derek said.

'The new product that’s in the pipeline is really exciting. Their pricing is aggressive and attractive. Mercury has been around for a long time so they really know what they are doing, and there’s also the ease of doing business. I’ve found Mercury to be open and flexible.

'And all of that is going to translate into wins for our customers.'

With some 30 boats always on display, and a highly qualified service and repair team, Good Times Marine is a boater’s paradise. There’s even valet servicing for customers who can’t get their boats to the workshop.

'The staff here are specially trained to listen for what people are looking for in a boat, especially first time boaters, so their enjoyment on the water is maximized,' Derek said.

'We firmly believe in leisure time – people work hard so they deserve maximum fun and relaxation in their time off. That’s what we’re all Mercury Marine
