NSW Beneteau Dealer Vicsail will provide visitors to the Sydney International Boat Show the opportunity to see firsthand why the Beneteau Oceanis 38 has broken new ground for those looking for a versatile yacht that offers a range of sailing options. The 2014 European 'Family Cruising' Yacht Of The Year will headline another big display from Vicsail, who will also present the very popular Beneteau Sense 50 and Oceanis 48 models.

Europe’s coveted Yacht of the Year, the Oceanis 38, can be sailed single-handed, as a couple, with family or with friends, with a range of layout options. On board, sailing is free of needless constraints. The design is a modest and easily managed sail-plan, providing sprightly performance for a boat of her type. Twin rudders give her a solid feel with a smart cockpit layout.

With the choice of a basic Day-Sailer format or more detailed Weekender and Cruiser specifications, the interior can be enhanced at a later date with accommodation packs to match your lifestyle of sailing or budget.

'The Oceanis 38 is a very cleverly designed mid size yacht, offering a range of layout options for day sailors, for weekenders and for longer range cruising too,' said Vicsail Managing Director Brendan Hunt. She offers versatility and functionality, spec’d for luxury and simplicity for a couple to enjoy, or to accommodate a family in comfort with a broader range of needs.

Vicsail will also present the Beneteau Oceanis 48 and super stylish Sense 50. The Sense 50 is a true blue water luxury live aboard. From the large swim platform, through the flowing open cockpit and helm, to an airy saloon and living area with spacious accommodation, the Sense 50 typifies long range sailing in luxury.

The Oceanis 48 is the ideal family cruiser. The three cabin option on display at the show features a large owner’s stateroom with separate shower and toilet. A slight move of the mast has opened the interior accommodation and living areas, with the marketleading cockpit featuring an electric transom creating the ultimate bathing platform.

For more information about the Oceanis 38 or the Beneteau range on display at the Sydney International Boat Show visit Vicsail Sydney or call 02 9327 2088.
