Cruisers- Focus on Anchoring at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron

Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS) is inviting cruisers to attend a 'Focus on Cruising' Dinner where the focus this time will be on anchoring - old technology vs new generation anchors and issues around winches and their maintenance.
The evening is being held in conjunction with the Island Cruising Association, whose rallies cover New Zealand, Australia, the South Pacific and South East Asia. The informative ‘Focus on Cruising’ Buffet Dinner is to be held on Friday 13th of June in the Quarterdeck Restaurant of the club.
Steve Mair from Anchor Specialists’ Manson Marine will be guest speaking on Anchors & Anchoring, followed by long time cruiser Tony Whiting who will be speaking about Anchor Winches & Winch Maintenance.
Tickets are $35 per head, including a delicious buffet dinner.
