All Marine Spares showcases trailer and brands at SCIBS

Sanctuary Cove is a must-do for All Marine Spares, and this year’s was their first with their new, highly-visible trailer.

'The trailer was well-received, people took an interest and were thinking about doing something similar, like a container with a similar fitout,' said Leigh Francis, founder and MD. It worked for showcasing the products and introducing the branding. It was very arresting, but I am quite biased as my staff and I worked for months to get it there!'

Despite a perceived lack of traffic around that end of the Village during SCIBS, All Marine Spares team felt there was good quality enquiry and lots of trade, particularly Friday and Saturday. 'We saw a couple of overseas companies come and have look, which is promising,' said Francis.

'We judge the success of a boat show from the people we speak to. We don’t actually sell, we pass them on to our distributors in their regions. A lot of trade people went through the trailer and said ‘I didn’t know you did that’ even after being clients for 20 years, so that was good.'

Coming up next on the All Marine Spares agenda is most likely Sydney International Boat Show, as well as a host of regional shows, marina open days and events.

'Have trailer, will travel!'

On the international front, All Marine Spares will head to IBEX, this year in Tampa Florida, end of September, early October, followed by METS in Amsterdam at the end of November.

Show and event organisers who are keen to have the All Marine Spares trailer attend should get in touch with Leigh Francis.
