Apart from its members' presence at the shows, NZ Marine also excited to be furthering its Destination NZ initiative.

Superyacht attraction and creating awareness around the logistics and benefits of coming to New Zealand is the core goal of the group, made up of representatives from Auckland Tourism Events and Economic Development (ATEED), Tourism New Zealand, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise and NZ Marine.

At the Monaco Yacht Show, from the 24 to 27 September, NZ Marine will have Doyle Sails (new to NZ street), Southern Spars, Destination New Zealand, North Sails, Harken, Magnus Marine, MedAire, McMullen & Wing, Events Clothing, Fiji Tourism, Orams Marine and IMED exhibiting.

November's FLIBS is lining up well, with Fort Lauderdale likely to see MedAire, Glasshape, Maxwell Marine, Magnus Marine, Destination NZ, Stainless Downunder, McMullen & Wing and Balex Marine in attendance.

This year's METS will also have a strong New Zealand contingent: C-Tech, Pacific Aerials, SeaLegs, Fastmount, Tru Design and Fusion all exhibiting.
