ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyères 2014 - The 1,111 sailors from 59 nations arose this morning, greeted by sunshine and clear blue skies. The one problem, the early morning breeze that has been evident over the opening two days of racing at ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyères was absent.

But fear not, the easterly breeze evident over day’s one and two has been replaced with a westerly that will start to really come in towards the latter part of the morning with 9-12 knots on the cards.

As the day goes on it is expected to pick up with anything between 13-17 knots expected. With a smooth sea state and one metre swell day two’s buzz words 'Champagne sailing' and 'glamour conditions' could be rolling of the tongues of the world’s finest competing in Hyères.

The qualification period concluded on Tuesday 22 April with the fleets with large numbers now split in to gold, silver and in the 49er class’ case bronze. With gold fleet racing commence the best of the bunch will get the chance to test themselves against each other once again.

Tracking will commence on Wednesday 23 April and you will be able to follow the action in either 2D or 3D.
