American Windsurfing Tour 2014 - Countdown has started

by American Windsurfing Tour on 8 Apr 2014
American Windsurfing Tour 2014 American Windsurfing Tour http://americanwindsurfingtour.com/
For the opening of the AWT season the countdown has really started now with just eight weeks until the first event in California which kicks off a whirlwind few months for Sam and her team of riders, helpers, sponsors and judges.

Working alongside the PWA judges at the Aloha Classic was an extremely rewarding experience for me and the other AWT judges, a great confidence boost and a perfect opportunity to discuss ideas and views. An interesting statistic highlighted was that despite magical performances by riders dancing across and above Ho’okipa’s waves no perfect 10 was awarded in AWT competition.

The AWT is a wave sailing tour focused on riding and jumping and we will be looking to reward riders seeking radical perfection. The question remains therefore which rider will emulate Nadia Comaneci’s achievement at the Montreal Olympics and secure the first perfect 10 wave score in AWT competition?

While Team AWT is preparing for the tour to begin, we appreciate your registration to help us better prepare for the first events of the year. Please register today on the AWT website.
