Laser Europa Cup Koper - No racing for Lasers on second day

On the second day of Europa Laser Cup in Koper 202 sailors were held onshore under just AP so they could be ready as soon as the wind arrived, but by 15:00 the PRO Bojan Gale made the decision that it wasn't going to happen and abandoned racing for the day.

The sea was glassy and the chance of racing was extremely slim. Hopefully with an early start tomorrow, we can get three more races on the scoreboard and successfully conclude the event, said Gale, expecting a light north-east breeze.

Despite the lack of wind the mood of the sailors was good. Some of them killed the time reading, playing table football, pool, virtual sailing and other computer games.

Racing continues tomorrow at 10:00 with three races scheduled.
