ISAF Sailing World Cup Mallorca 2014 - The qualification series will come to a close at Trofeo Princesa Sofia on 1 April 2014 with a packed schedule that will kick off at 11:00 local time.

A morning north easterly is scheduled to shift to the south east around 12:00 local time meaning a short delay could occur in the morning.

Once the breeze fills in up to 11 knots on the race courses could give the 1,130 sailors from 55 nations a testing day on the water.

London 2012 49er bronze medallist come Nacra 17 racer Allan Norregaard (DEN) said, 'The indication is the wind is going to turn 180 degrees and we’ll get the sea breeze so we hope for that.'

And to keep himself and his team occupied he added, 'We’re having a coffee and relaxing and when we see the wind fill in we’ll go get ready.'

Racing will commence at 11:00 with the 49erFX, Nacra 17 and Finn all scheduled for three races. The Laser Radial will also get going at 11:00 but only have two scheduled races.

Three 49er races are scheduled for 13:00. Half an hour later the Men’s and Women’s RS:X get the first of three planned races underway whilst the Laser and Men’s and Women’s 470 start the first of two.

The 2.4mR will get going at 12:00.
