470 action during the Andalusian Olympic Week - Carnival Trophy ISAF
The Andalusian Olympic Week - Carnival Trophy came to a close on Sunday 2 March with top international competitors fighting it out across eight Olympic events.

The 50-point regatta featured a combination of top European racers as well as a strong Spanish contingent who were fighting for the national championship.

Four days of testing breeze, current and waves made for intriguing racing on Bay of Cadiz, Spain.

Onan Barreiros and Juan Curbelo (ESP) asserted themselves on the opening day in the Men's 470 with double bullets. Compatriots Jorge Martinez Doreste and Aaron Sarmiento fought closely but a second and a final race win on the last day handed Barreiros and Curbelo the title, six points ahead. Portugal's Gonzalo Pires and Miguel Nunes took third.

In the Women's 470 Anna Kyselova and Anastasiya Krasko (UKR) put two black flags within the first three races behind them to finish on top. Marina Gallego and Fatima Reyes (ESP) came through in second with Barbara Comudella and Sara Lopez (ESP) in third.

Current European Vasilij Zbogar (SLO) asserted himself in the Finn class to take his fourth gold out of his last five regattas. The Slovenian won six of 12 races with consistent scores in etween to wrap up top spot with a race to spare. Zsombar Berecz (HUN) finished 19 points behind Zbogar with Alican Kaynar (TUR) in third.

A Polish 1-2 played out in the Men's RS:X with the experienced Piotr Myszka taking the title ahead of youngster Pawel Tarnowski.

Moana Delle (GER) strung together 12 top seven finishes in the Women's RS:X to take out the title. Maayan Davidovich (ISR) was unable to match Delle's consistency as she picked up second, two points ahead of Maja Dziarnowska (POL) in third.

Evi Van Acker (BEL) dominated the Laser Radial and sealed gold with two races to spare whilst John Baptise Bernaz (FRA) finished ahead of world number two Tom Burton (AUS) in the Laser.
