L’épave de Cheminées Poujoulat à Brest

Alors que l’épave de son Cheminées Poujoulat avait été renflouée dès la fin janvier à l’Aber Wrac’h, Bernard Stamm attendait impatiemment la fenêtre météo qui lui permettrait de treuiller son bateau sur une barge afin de la rapatrier vers Brest, son port d’attache.

Reste que les tempêtes à répétition qui ont balayé les côtes bretonnes ces trois dernières semaines l’ont aussi obligé à chambouler son plan initial qui consistait à charger son 60 pieds sur le petit cargo « Molenez », ce dernier étant, entre temps, entré en chantier.

L’opération a donc été effectuée ce mardi 18 février par « Dora », le navire de soutien aux plongeurs et scaphandriers de la DCNS. Le groupe naval de Défense a en effet mis une nouvelle fois ses moyens techniques à disposition du skipper suisse mais également quelques hommes, experts de la manutention en mer.

Le monocoque semi-immergé a ainsi été levé puis embarqué sur le bateau spécialement affrété pour l’occasion en début d’après-midi avant de faire route puis d’être déposé au port de commerce de la cité du Ponant vers 20 heures. A présent, Bernard et son équipe vont s’atteler à démanteler l’épave (démonter le moteur, enlever les dérives, faire table rase sur le pont…) avant de mettre la monture à l’envers et de procéder au déquillage en fin de semaine.
