KTA Indonesia 2014 - It's official the KTA Philippines Boracay Extreme has become the final tour round for the 13/14 KTA Asia Kiteboard season.

The KTA Philippines is being presented by long time tour support and sponsors the Blue Orange Ville and hosted once again by ardent local champions of the KTA, Aqua Boracay by Yoo. The completion will therefore take place from the 19-23 Feb at the beautiful beach front location of Aqua Boracay on the world famous Bulabog kite beach. A high competitor turn-out is expected with some very high quality race and freestyle action in the week to follow.

There will be USD 15,000 worth of prizes up for grabs courtesy of tour sponsors Cabrinha along with the KTA Asian Tour Championship awards for the top riders of the season.

Boracay is packed at the moment with riders from around the world waiting for the KTA to kick off. So it is sure to be a dynamic finale to the 13/14 as the world’s pro-riders take on Asia’s best. Make sure then to book your front row seat at Bulabog beach each day for all the action.

Also, as has become the style for the KTA this season the team is offering a full event of kiteboarding opportunities in addition to the competition itself. The KTA Kite Kids will be kicking off its busy event schedule from the 17th Feb in a week that sees power kiting, kitesurf beginners courses, race and freestyle coaching, plus the return for the second year of the KTA Kids TT Race to top it all off.

Plus we have an all-time first for the KTA with the Asian Movie Premier of With a Kite!

With a Kite is a full length documentary from American filmmaker Adam Boozer follows the lives and lifestyle of some of the world’s top pro-kiters via the infamous Triple S in America. The premier is being screen by the KTA in conjunction with the Kasbah Restos on White Beach with free popcorn on tap to add that extra movie theatre feel to the experience.

So plenty to come next week from the KTA Philippines - so see you there!
