At the ISAF World Cup Miami 2014 it was catch up day as sailing conditions suffered over the last few days, the race committees were working overtime to squeeze in as many races as possible for all fleets!

The Canadian headline today is featured on the Radial course as Claire Merry (RCYC) continues to prove her intent at the ISAF World Cup Miami. With a bullet (win) in race sixth, she moves herself into podium contention. Head Coach Ken Dool laments, 'she sailed a great race. No high risk business, just a solid race.'

Lee Parkhill elbows his way back into the top Laser crew in 11th, with Tom Ramshawin 16th.

On the Finn course, Greg Douglas hangs onto sixth place after a difficult race 5. Many of the boys were black flagged thus putting their overall positioning in jeapardy.

Canadian Nacras had a full plate of racing today and Canadian team Ramsay-Girke move into the final days in sixth overall.

SKUD team John McRoberts-Jackie Gay secured their first win of the event, edging out the Brits and suggesting they are not settling for second!

Sonar team Tingley-Campbell-Lutes hang out in fourth place in a tight battle with FRA, GBR, USA.

2.4mR fleet is led by Megan Pascoe (GBR), able-bodied sailor Allan Leibel (CAN), and Helena Lucas (GBR). Canadian Paralympian Bruce Millar has been suffering from some health setbacks this week that has impacted his overall performance in Miami.

Racing continues tomorrow with finals for Paralympic classes and two more days for the Olympic classes.
