New for 2014 season, Baltic are launching a 150 Newton inflatable lifejacket, called the Optima.

With a padded back panel the Optima fits perfectly and is supremely comfortable, especially when wearing for for a great length of time. The fleece collar is equally comfortable against the skin or against thinner clothing.

The Optima has automatic inflation upon immersion and is available in several versions, with options for integral harness, integral sprayhood and water activated emergency light. The Optima has 165 Newtons of buoyancy and is tested and approved to EN ISO 12402, the with harness version also to EN ISO 12401.

The Baltic Optima comes with a neat inspection window revealing the status indicators. The two indicator bars show if either the automatic head or the CO2 cylinders have been used and therefore if the jacket needs rearming.

Other features are a wide comfortable detachable crotch strap which can be stored inside the lifejacket, retro-reflective patches, lifting becket and a whistle.

The lifejacket is available in all black or with a yellow material flash in 1 size to fit all from 40 -150kg.
