Jerwood wins Little Wheel

by Bernie Kaaks on 26 Jan 2014 Matt Jerwood and his team completed their Schweppes Little Wheel Regatta campaign with a three-nil win over world Laser radial champion Tristan Brown, who featured in yesterday’s wild broach images.

Competing in his first major match racing event, the South of Perth yachtsman won the title without losing a race and will go into next week’s Warren Jones International Youth Match Racing Regatta full of confidence.

The petit final was won by New Zealand’s Chris Staub with a two-nil victory over Will Boulden.
