Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and their brood enjoyed the a hot Christmas downunder on the Coomera River, enjoying some Gold Coast boating.

Photos on celebrity spotter sites showed the 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' stars surrounded by their children, Pax, Shiloh, Vivienne, Knox, Maddox and Zahara, onboard the charter boat – nothing luxurious mind you, just a small runabout, ideal for the shallow waters.

Commentators were quick to point out that none of the children wore lifejackets for their Broadwater jaunt.

The Pitt-Jolie clan are holidaying at the luxury Coomera compound of former world motorcycle champion Mick Doohan.

Pitt, who celebrated his 50th birthday last week, has flown back and forth to Australia a few times for Aussie reunions while Jolie has been directing her upcoming film 'Unbroken'.
