Quantum Sale - What great products have Harken got?

by Quantum Sails on 24 Dec 2013
SW
Harken have some terrific new products for you this year. For the One-Designs, we have brought our Grand Prix technology to sport boat level with the pivoting track Crossbow™ Self-Tacking Jib System. Our Carbo® line continues to expand for an even greater array of system options, with Pivoting Lead Blocks and T2™ Soft-Attach Doubles.

The addition of the new double versions of the T2™ Soft-Attach Blocks in 18, 29, 40, and 57 mm sizes, give sailors the ability to build an even greater array of systems. T2 Doubles share the same styling and all-composite construction as other blocks in the line. The 29, 40, and 57 have no rivets, fasteners, metal parts, or shackles, making them some of the lightest blocks on the market.

A completely new line for Harken® this year are Lead Rings they’re simple, weight-saving devices used to route line for jib in-haulers, twings, barberhaulers, lazy jacks, cascading backstays and other applications requiring minimal fine-tune adjustments. Lead Rings come in five sizes with 8, 10, 14, 20, and 28 mm holes.

For those wanting to add some power to their sailing, we now offer our 1.5T and 3T Captive Reel Winches in electric versions that are perfect for smaller yachts. For those with hydraulic power, our pump line now includes a Single-Speed Pump with expanded panel options. And finally, check out our new easy-to-retrofit Boom Angle Indicator for custom and mega yachts.

Grabbing chances with both hands
Can bad weather actually lead to more sailing? There's been no getting away from the fact that it's been a pretty miserable start to 2024 weather-wise in the UK. February saw record rainfall (yes, I know we're famed for our rain over here), it's been seriously windy and generally chilly.
