The ASMEX conference has cemented its position on the global industry events calendar with a strong programme of speakers, strong sponsorship support with some key brand names involved, a well organised format and the introduction of the gala dinner attracting close to 200 delegates making this a very prestigious and significant industry event.

Superyacht Australia is also excited by the new governments focus on removing barriers to business growth and the fact they see the marine sector as an important sector of the Australian economy.

Barry Jenkins Chairman stated 'We have a very strong programme of activities to pursue in 2014 with a key focus on pushing a review of the charter regulations. Along with AIMEX we will be putting some resources into supporting our members targeting the commercial side of the business. We also have our Asia trade mission coming up and we will be supporting the Asia Superyacht conference with an Australia delegation to showcase our capability to this region.'
