New yacht charter opportunities for 2014

Not all of us can afford the time and/or the money to sail over the horizon for months and years at a time. (But why not?) So chartering a yacht in a distant or exotic port is the next best alternative. Here we bring you what one of the world's leading charter organisations, Sunsail, with 800 yachts in 27 destinations worldwide, is offering new for the 2014 season.

Sunsail are introducing a new Caribbean destination and 5 new flotilla routes. These changes are reflected on the Sunsail website as well as in the recently launched 2014 Sunsail Brochure.

New Destination - St Lucia:
Sunsail's base in St Lucia is perfectly situated to explore the stunning diversity of the Caribbean and the nearby cruising grounds of St Vincent, Tobago Cays, Mustique and many more. You could even do a one way charter to Grenada.

Sailing in St Lucia is ideal for more experienced sailors who will relish the prospect of getting stuck in to some of the exhilarating open water passages that the sailing area offers. The area is full of quaint towns, beachside restaurants, snorkelling hot spots, and of course the famous Pitons. Sunsail offer both bareboat and flotilla options out of this new base.

New Flotilla Routes - Mediterranean:
In addition to the new charter and flotilla base out of St Lucia, Sunsail will be opening a number of new flotilla routes around the Mediterranean:

1. Croatia: The 1 Week Krka flotilla or more adventurous 2 week Vis flotilla out of Kremik, plus the revised Mljet flotilla out of Dubrobnik.

2. Turkey: The 2 week Loryma Flotilla going from Gocek to Orhaniye and back.

3. Greece: A challenging Cyclades 2 week Flotilla from Athens as far as Santorini.

New Pricing:
From the 1st September 2013, Sunsail has moved to a new revenue management system to better address the challenge of projecting demand and helping set prices in a more equitable manner throughout the season. The new dynamic pricing could therefore change on a weekly basis due to availability of destinations, boat types and dates.

Sunsail have also introduced a new Early Booking Discount for bookings taken between 1st November 2013 - 31st January 2014 to receive 5% off all departures from 1st March 2014 to 31st December 2014 (T&Cs apply).

...and don't forget, alongside Yacht Charter and Flotilla Sailing holidays, Sunsail also offers Beach Clubs, Sailing Schools, Team Building and Events, Yacht Ownership and Sunsail Racing.

Sunsail was founded in 1974 and is owned by TUI Travel, PLC. For more information on sailing holidays, visit www.sunsail.com
