New Zealand and Australian sailors dominated the Rolex ISAF World Sailor of the Year awards presented at a glittering dinner held in the Sultancy of Oman.

2012 Olympic Mens 470 Gold Medalist and current World Champion, Matt Belcher (AUS) won the Mens Award, while his counterpart in the Womens event, Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie (NZL) who are current Wold Champions and also 2012 Olympic Gold Medalists in the 470, were presented with the Womens Award.
