MGI stock boat wraps 3 Sandman PR
Innovative Australian design studio Marine Graphics Ink (MGI) has released its summer 2013/14 Stock Boat Wraps brochure, offering a stylish and cost-effective boat hull protection solution.

Unlike anything Australia has ever seen, and available in 16 new designs, the process is simple. Select a boat wrap from the brochure, contact MGI with your choice and boat details, MGI will size the wrap to fit your hull (including positioning of registration number), and print the wrap on premium cast vinyl with UV over laminate. MGI will also apply the wrap to your boat if there’s an agent in your area, or send the printed artwork to you for installation by a local sign company.

MGI owner and head illustrator Nick Hannan said the concept provided boat owners with ready access to quality boat wraps and MGI’s distinct illustrative style.

'With the advent of modern day vinyl, a boat wrap is an increasingly popular alternative to painting your boat, as it serves to protect the hull for up to seven years and can be less than a third of the price of a re-paint or gelcoat,' Hannan said.

'A boat wrap also makes a high-quality finish statement… whether that’s for promotional purposes, such as the many custom wraps we design for fishing tackle and marine brands, or simply to give your boat a stylish edge… even a straight colour change for larger vessels is a very popular choice.'

While the Stock Boat Wraps brochure provides a range of ready-to-go designs, customisation is available to offer a more personal element. Boat owners can select any wrap from the brochure and replace elements with other stock designs, fish from MGI’s stock fish library, add sponsor logos and even incorporate the boat’s name.

'A stock boat wrap doesn’t mean your boat is going to look the same as others on the water,' Hannan said.

'Many people mix and match the stock designs or request other slight modifications to make their boat wrap unique, which can all be accommodated.

'We focus on producing the best boat wraps floating around, so if you don’t see something you like in the latest Stock Boat Wraps brochure we’re happy to discuss a complete custom wrap!'
