2013 Extreme Sailing Series Act 7 SAP Extreme Sailing Team
In the Extreme Sailing Series, running true to form, the SAP Extreme Sailing Team are right back in the game on the Bay of Angels today in Act 7! Embroiled in mid fleet battles for most of the day, the SAP Extreme Sailing team picked up huge speeds down the racecourse, travelling over 25 knots pushing to take a spectacular win in Race 13.

Nicolai Sehested reflected on today’s racing, 'We started the day ready for more. We are fired up and will keep fighting! Tomorrow is all about nailing the small details and getting the boat set up right. Our boat handling is pretty good and we are ready to push, push, push!'

Pete Cumming commented, 'We know that this racing can be stressful and our key to success it to keep it simple, communicate and if we come up against a problem – solve it and move on. Jes and Rasmus are really good at dealing with things. It felt like the whole fleet had upped the ante today and we’ll back tomorrow to go at it 100%.'

As the team head into day three they are in sixth position on the leaderboard it is clear that their patience and confidence has paid Extreme Sailing Series Website
