Former Chicago Mac Chairman named to Marine Industry Leaders list

The October 2013 issue of Boating Industry Magazine recently named Karma Yacht Sales Co-Owner Lou Sandoval as one of four Boating Industry professionals highlighted for their leadership.

Identified on the basis of their 'willingness to take chances' , 'rethinking the way they do business' and 'embracing the changes facing the marine industry'- the four professionals identified are highlighted in the upcoming issue of the industry monthly magazine.

Serving on several industry wide boards and committees, 'Lou represents a new breed of involved industry leaders that aren't afraid to buck the conventional trends and think differently' said Tom Lennard, an industry colleague, 'The marine industry could use more individuals like Lou who stand out in their way of thinking and in their approach to old problems with new ideas.' Mr. Sandoval has been recognized for his service on many on-the-water committees including the Chicago Yacht Club- Race to Mackinac and the Board of Directors of Chicago Yacht Club.

Aside from his professional endeavors, Lou is an involved community leader who believes in giving back. He is an active supporter of youth development organizations including the local council of the Boy Scouts of America where he serves as Council Commisioner and is a member of the Executive board for the Council. He volunteers as president of his local Park Advisory Board and believes in proactively addressing the issues facing his local community.
