Sea mist may have prevented racing on the first day of the 2013 International C-Class Catamaran Championship, but local videographer Michael Todd was able to share some of the excitement with a 3-minute video story of the day’s action, including Groupama’s surprisingly fast light-air speed, Team Cascais’s crossbeam failure, and much more.

Monday’s forecast calls for significantly more breeze – up to 20 knots – and up to five races for the assembled fleet. Racing begins at 1100 GMT and continues through until Saturday, when the new C-Class Champion is crowned.
