Airlie Beach Race Week - 'Tropical shirt and margarita' Lay Day

by Airlie Beach Race Week on 13 Aug 2013
Wear your tropical shirts on Lay Day! Teri Dodds Photography
It's the 'tropical shirt and margarita' Lay Day, so have a day of rest and soak up the atmosphere of Airlie Beach and the greater Whitsundays.

There's plenty of things to do - have lunch or dinner at the sailing club, check out the businesses or go on a daily tour!

Otherwise, we have plenty of activities planned at the sailing club from 11am.

There will be live music, buckets of coronas, margaritas, fun activities and a very special sailing race, just for the skippers!

During the week, enter your skipper in the 'Skippers opti-tacker race'!

The day is open to the public, with the bar and bistro upstairs open, as well as the barbecue lunch downstairs at the club.

Get your tropical shirts and hats on to win the 'best dressed' competition on the day.

Let's have fun!
