IMCA Italy supports Acque Libre

SW
The Italian Moth class (IMCA Italy) is supporting a campaign in favour of the cultural and amateur sports association 'Acque Libere'. The aim of the association is to promote activities that allow for the use of the environment to people with different levels and types of disability , in total security and integration with non-disabled persons.

In particular, the Association aims to create the conditions that guarantee everyone the opportunity to participate in sports and water activities. People with disabilities, their families and their friends should be able to live immersive and challenging experiences , even from the physical point of view , being able to count on the complete safety and reliability of the context.

'Acque Libere' has set as its first objective the creation of a Nautical Base in La Maddalena, Sardinia, appropriate to the activities of the disabled and the purchase of boats of the class 2.4mR, the top of the International Paralympic sailing. The Class is one of the best examples of integration,it is in fact a category open to participate in competitions ( in one category ) men, women, disabled, able-bodied without any distinction.

The Italian Moth class supports 'Acque Libere' in achieving this first goal: during the next Italian championship (13-15 september at Campione del Garda) will organize at the restaurant of Campione Univela Hostel a dinner whose proceeds will be donated to the association. The championship participants will be guests of Velocitek Italia and Cantina Chiara Ziliani , anyone else decides to buying dinner ( 30.00 Euro ) will contribute to the formation of capital for the purchase of 2.4mR which is the first objective of the association.

Campione Univela Hostel, IMCA Italy and Stefano Rizzi offer in 'auction' a weekend of intensive training and coaching FACE2FACE. Stefano Rizzi , olimpico sailor with some America's Cup and VOR on the curriculum, one of the best Italian sailors and mothies among the most experienced in Europe, will provide for a whole weekend his overwhelming charisma and his abysmal experience to the lucky who want to offer the highest amount The full amount of the auction will be donated to 'Acque Libere' Campione Univela Hostel, IMCA Italy offer in 'auction' two courses LEARN2FLY.
