At the IFDS Disabled World championship racing began at 11am in 12 knots but with poor visibility. Luckily the mist soon lifted on the final day of racing, the clouds parted and the Sonar class sailed three races while the Skud and 2.4mRs completed two successful races each.

The Canadian Skud team sailed another consistent day of two, three hanging onto third place and bringing home the Bronze medal. This is a great achievement for their first major event with congrats to the Skud team, John McRoberts and Jackie Gay. GBR captured gold.

On the hotly contested 2.4mR course, Bruce Millar demonstrated his consistent ability to play in the big leagues, posting all top 10 results in the 55 boat fleet and rounding out his event in seventh overall. NED took gold, followed by GER in silver.

The Canadian Sonar team, Paul Tingley, Logan Campbell, and Scott Lutes, continued to battle today however couldn't find enough points to wiggle up from 10th overall. FRA captured gold with a convincing point spread in their fleet.

Congrats to our Canadian team for their hard fought battles this week!
