IFDS World Championship - Canadian,New-Zealand and Ireland sonars Michael Sweeney
At the IFDS Worlds, light winds continue to plague racing in Ireland. Despite cancellations yesterday, the race committee managed to get of two races off today for the SKUD's and 2.4mR's, while the Sonar's pumped out three full races.
Top scoring Canadian team was SKUD duo John McRoberts/Jackie Gay posting a 3, 2 to land behind Italy and GBR in third overall.
Bruce Millar also battled with the best to maintain top 10 status in the 50 boat fleet going into day three of their main event.
Sonar Canadian trio Tingley/Campbell/Lutes struggled a bit in the light shifty breeze but hang on to 10th position with points very tight on the leaderboard.
