The CORK Olympic Classes Regatta finale offered up solid wind 15+kts, racing close to shore, and running race commentary over the speakers. Specators were not49er podium disappointed!

Jon Ladha and Dan Inkpen showed up today ready to work and that they did, winning all three 49er medal races in the quick paced stadium style finals, they'll bank this win heading into the 49er Worlds in September. Canadians Mori/Barnes and Barrows/Martis fill out the top three in the 49er class.

The FX ladies also competed close to shore with many points up for grabs, it was anyone's game. Despite Erin Rafuse/Danielle Boyd's best efforts to overtake the American's, Henken/Scutt hung on for the win. Rafuse/Boyd secured second, followed by Berry/Laventure in third. Canadian teams are pleased with the result in their second FX event.

The Radials sailed two final races today with CST sailors Claire Merry and Brenda Bowskill capturing second and third place overall. USA's Max Lopez wins the Radial NA Grand Prix only four points ahead of Merry.

The Laser Grand Prix winner is David Wright with another bullet on the day, and another Canadian sweep on the podium, including Tom Ramshaw in second with Lee Parkhill rounding out in third, only two points behind Ramshaw.

CST sailor Rob Hemming wins the modest Finn fleet at CORK OCR while the rest of his counterparts prepare for Worlds in Estonia.
