Sailing in the Americas? Nv Charts announces the launch of www.nvcharts.com, a new interactive web site and e-commerce site for all of the company’s charting and navigation products - basically the east coast of the USA and the Caribbean.

The new website features an improved homepage design, cleaner layout of page content, and an intuitive and consistent site-wide navigation system. It is also accessible through a wider range of web browsers and devices, including mobiles and tablets. Nv Charts is an industry leader in highly accurate, detailed marine charting products.

'Our new site is a virtual ‘chart shop’ online, where the visitor can easily navigate and find everything they need that’s ‘Nv’' announced Hasko Scheidt, nv charts’ president and CEO.

'Our new website is designed with our customers first in mind,' he said. 'More user-friendly features, streamlined content, and a more accessible format for all customers make it easy to set up accounts, then choose and purchase our paper and digital cutting-edge charting products.

'In the development phase, we worked with customers and friends to learn how we could make the site more convenient to use. Thanks to the feedback we received and the hard work of our staff, the website has an exciting new look and is more accessible, informative, interactive and easy to navigate than ever before.'

Hasko pointed out that the new Nv Charts App, a simple-to-use Free app for iOS and Android mobile devices can be downloaded directly from the new web site, with digital chart regions for the App available at only $10 per region. 'It’s a whole navigation and plotting system in one,' Hasko says, 'Not only can you load and use your Nv charts, downloaded wirelessly from the Nv Cloud, but then, with GPS input, you can navigate.

'The Nv Charts App provides a complete toolkit for navigation, including a route menu, range and bearing measurement tool, ‘man overboard’ (MOB) marking and return tool, a logbook, and more.'

Easy clicks bring the tech-savvy sailor to choices of bundled chart sets, accessories, and especially the new SIM cards with complete digital charts for chartplotters. You can then register the products to activate them, get detailed information about charting products and individual chart sets, have questions answered, and browse the latest news and developments at Nv Charts.

There is even a blog supporting the new Nv Charts App. Shopping cart entry is easy; users can set up accounts to make shopping easier, more convenient, and faster, because you can store multiple shipping addresses and track your orders and much more. The range of products available includes chart region boxes and bundles, individual regions with CD, waterproof charts, digital charts and SIM cards, accessories and Nv Charts’ cruising guides.
