2013 Student Yachting World Cup - Macquarie University to race

Macquarie University skippered by James Burman has been selected to represent Australia at the 2013 Student Yachting World Cup in Pornic, France from October 12-19. The Student Yachting World Cup is an ISAF event organised every year in France by students for students. This event has been organised since 1979.

15 countries are expected to field entries for this year’s event. Japan, Switzerland , Ireland and England have already confirmed their entries this year along with Australia. Race Organisers have selected the one design J80 class for this edition and teams will be tested in short course racing, offshore and a one off night race. We wish the team success and look forward to supporting them during the regatta.
