Director of Galeon Motor Yachts, John Goldsbrough, is at the Sydney International Boat Show - not as an exhibitor this year - but he has hopes of launching this superb range of powerboats made in Poland at the Gold Coast International Marine Expo in November, before exhibiting in Sydney in 2014.
The range goes from 26 feet to 78 feet, all characterised modern styling, innovative layouts, functionality, high tech controls and attention to detail, according to Goldsbrough.
In Australia, the entry level boat will be the 29 foot Fly model, priced from $276,250 up to $375,800 fully optioned. Top of the range is the 780 Crystal which tops $6,185,175.
In 2010, Galeon won the prestigious World Yacht Trophy for the Raptor 700 Skydeck, with a design by Tony Castro, the acclaimed Italian designer based in the UK. 'That got them a lot of attention in Europe, the Middle East and the US, where they now have distribution.'
Galeon Australia is now operating from Rozelle Bay, adjacent to the Sydney Superyacht Marina, in brand new premises.
Goldsbrough is aiming for the Gold Coast International Marine Expo in November for the first official reveal of the Galeon range.
