Chicago Match Cup to broadcast live next week

This coming week, the Alpari World Match Racing Tour heads to Chicago for Stage 4 of the World Tour; the Chicago Match Cup from 6th - 11th August 2013. The event will be broadcast LIVE in full HD format via the internet and broadcast networks.

Over 500,000 spectators are expected to attend the week-long event at one of the city’s famous landmarks, Navy Pier, which is also playing host to the Tall Ships Chicago festival with 14 of the majestic tall ships moored at the Pier.

The Chicago Match Cup will be streamed via new Livestream at the following link https://new.livestream.com/WorldMRT from Wednesday 7th August – 11th August. The livestream player is also available for members of the media and other websites to embed into their own sites. – please see the links and instructions below.

On Sunday 11 August, the event will also be broadcast live to over 15 international broadcasters including the Nautical Channel, Outdoor Sports Channel, OSN Dubai, Sports TV Turkey, Sport 5 Israel, Setanta Africa, Nova Greece, Digisport Hungary and the Abu Dhabi Media Co.

Comcast SportsNet Chicago will also provide local coverage from the event with a two-hour special show scheduled for Sunday 11 August, after the event finals at 1630hrs (CDT), Comcast SportsNet Central will provide nightly updates/highlights from the event beginning August 7 featuring interviews with the skippers and event WMRT website
