Noble boats for auction with $1 reserve Marine Auctions
Marine Auctions, based at Rivergate Brisbane, have fielded much interest in the lead up to their $1 Reserve Price Boat Auction, running online starting Thursday 25 July at midday and running until 3pm Monday 29 July.
The auction of five brand new Noble brand boats, which director, Adrian Seiffert describes as 'stable, good sea boats, Australian concept, built in a reputable shipyard in China by craftsmen'.
'We believe it’s an industry first,' he says. 'We want to sell them, and the directors of the company believe that instead of spending money on promoting the brand, a $1 reserve auction will gain plenty of attention! The idea is to get more Noble boats out in the marketplace, which will create a demand for more.'
Seiffert admits, the $1 reserve is 'a big risk' but worth the stress and anticipation.
'The concept has already generated a lot of interest. We are taking plenty of calls. People can be assured they will get great boats for a good price. They’re an awesome little boat.'
The five boats are: a 5m cuddy cabin, a 5.8m centre console, two 5m cuddy cabs and a 6.25m cuddy cab. 'They are all brand new and on trailers. They don’t come with motors, but we can organise any brand at a good price for the new owners since we have arrangements with most of the manufacturers.'
Noble is originally an Australian-made concept, previously built in Queensland, now produced in China by an Australian company with quality control, materials and production overseen by Australians.
'They are very sturdy and have undergone a lot of testing done over the years,' explains Seiffert. 'We sell them to plenty of professional fisherman all over the country. Best of all, they come at a good price point, especially with reserve of $1!'
The boats are available for viewing at Rivergate Brisbane, but if you can’t make it to Brisbane, Adrian and his team can send specs and photos and you can view them online.
