All Marine Spares shows new engines and Johnson Pump range at SIBS

by All Marine Spares on 23 Jul 2013
On show - All Marine Spares Leigh Francis
A veteran of 40 or so editions of the Sydney International Boat Show, Leigh Francis, founder of All Marine Spares believes it’s the country’s most significant event for the marine industry and this year’s will be no different.

'I have been attending since the Showground days,' says Leigh. 'Sydney is certainly a major event for us and delivers a good mix of trade and consumer visitors. The numbers are there, the BIA always does a great job of promoting the show, so we will be there this year capitalising on the influx.'

All Marine Spares will be exhibiting at this year’s show, 1-5 August at Darling Harbour, at Stand 613, in the main Hall 6.

On show, the latest range of Craftsman 60 and 85hp diesel engines, which Leigh says have been greeted with positive feedback since All Marine Spares began stocking its range of engines four years ago.

'They are a sophisticated motor and meet all the emission requirements, yet they are simple and cheap to maintain,' he states. 'They run smoothly, they’re reliable, not super high-tech. They do deliver good performance and are very economical to run, both in consumables and maintenance.'

All Marine Spares is the local distributor for the Johnson Pump brand and will have an array of pumps on show at Sydney.

Based in Sweden, the US owned company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of pumps for marine use and has been in operation for 40 years.

The Johnson Pump brand includes submersible bilge pumps, water pressure system pumps and macerator pumps for leisure craft.

At SIBS, All Marine Spares will be showcasing the range of Johnson Pump Uno and Duos, Toilets, Grey water Tanks, Viking power Vacuum series, Ultima Bilges, Wash Down kits, float switches and Impellers.

Phillip Anderson, the National Sales Manager will be at the All Marine Spares stand to explain their specifications and demonstrate their benefits.

Also on hand at the Sydney International Boat Show will be Darren Cutrie, who has taken the role of mobile rep for the company, visiting clients around the state and all over Australia.

Believing there was a need for a presence in the market place to explain the diversity of the All Marine Spares offering and to see clients’ businesses to understand their requirements, Darren has begun visiting clients and prospects to introduce them to the All Marine Spares difference.

'It’s a real point of difference, that personalised service that is missing these days,' says Darren. 'It’s also good for me to understand their businesses and needs so we can better fulfill them.'

Unique in Australia, the All Marine Spares team is composed of five ex-marine mechanics, all well versed on the diverse range of products from pumps and chain to anodes, heat exchangers, OEM parts, engines and exhaust systems – direct to the marine mechanical trade nationally.
