Xtreme Sailing Products Singapore have become latest distributor of the BarzOptics range of polarised eyewear.

Xtreme Sailing are manufacturers and distributors of a range of sailing craft which include Optimist, 29ers 420s and Tasar throughout Asia and the Pacific.

Xtreme are situated at the National Sailing Centre in Singapore and service the needs of all sailors.

'The team at Xtreme Sailing Products are a major force in sailing in Singapore,' says Kevin Barr, MD at BarzOptics. 'They’re Australian and they know the market very well. Competitive sailing is a growth market throughout Asia and Singapore is right in the hub.'

Barz Optics will be releasing three new polarised optical products at the Sydney International Boat Show.

The Heron is a ladies style with a hint of bling - frames are available in gloss tortoise shell and gloss black with a range of polarised lens colours.

The Java is a conservative mens shape available in gloss dark brown and matt black with grey or amber polarised lenses.

The Tofino is a unisex style available in gloss tortoise shell and matt black with stand polarised lenses and polarised with non-polarised reader lenses.

'Sydney is one of the three major shows we do worldwide. Our stand is on the Promenade outside the Halls, which is the main thoroughfare and good for us.'

So far for 2012/13, BarzOptics has reported a rise in exports of 30%, mostly led by growth in Europe, with distributors now in nine European countries.
