In a move to further streamline services to Mercury Marine dealers, Mercury has appointed two new directors in its Australia, New Zealand Pacific (ANZP) region.
Andrew McLean has been named Director of ANZP Supply Chain, Distribution and Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Mercury’s systems process designed to eliminate waste and drive efficiency.
Andrew, who will continue as Mercury’s Asia Pacific LSS Deployment Leader, will now also assume responsibility for the entire supply chain and distribution for ANZP.
Similarly, Mercury’s Software Development Manager for ANZP, Michael Wallace, has been named Director of IT for the region.
Michael will set and execute IT strategy for the Asia Pacific region, reporting to Brunswick’s Chief Information Officer, Mike Schulz.
Brunswick Corporation is Mercury Marine’s parent company.
'Both Andrew and Michael are outstanding at what they do, so I have no doubt that they will continue to excel with their new responsibilities,' Mr John Temple, General Manager Mercury Marine ANZP said.
'We are part of a global organisation which builds and sells an enormous range of engines and other products, so distribution, information technology, efficiency - these are all vital to our ability to service our customers.
'Michael and Andrew will play major roles as we continue to strive to make our business even better.'
