Quicksilver 705 to launch at Sydney Boat Show

Quicksilver Activ 705 underway Collins Marine
New to Australia and distributed by Collins Marine, the Quicksilver brand offers a lot of depth in its range of 19 models, covering all styles from offshore fishers, ski boats, day boats and cruisers.

'Affordability is the key,' says Peter Collins of this award-winning European made range, priced from under $30,000 to $200,000.

Quicksilver Boats are manufactured by the Belgium based company, Brunswick Marine Europe.

'Intelligent design and beautiful contemporary styling means these boats offer great versatility for a fun day out, no matter what the use. Responding to customer research, safety has been designed into key aspects of the boat.'

Feedback from Sanctuary Cove and Melbourne boat shows indicates people are impressed.

'We sold a few Quicksilvers post-show. The Open Quicksilver is a perfect boat for the Australian market, whether you’re lounging around, taking out the family or fishing.'

At the upcoming Sydney Boat Show, 1-4 August, Collins Marine will have two stands – one on the marina with four Arvors on the water and another in the Hall featuring four Quicksilvers on trailers.

'The Quicksilver 705 will be launching in Sydney. Sydney is our biggest show, with exposure to 90,000 people. The 705 will generate a lot of interest. It is outboard driven, very contemporary, with high usability, and its price point will be very interesting.'

The Activ 705 Cruiser has won the 2013 Motor Boat of the Year Award at London. This is the third consecutive year that Quicksilver has won one of Europe’s top boat design awards.

Sporty, spacious and safe, the Activ 705 Cruiser is a boat with room for eight people, as well as a permanent galley and spacious dining for enjoyable boating with family and friends. The private berth and enclosed toilet add to the onboard comfort.

Every area of the Active 705 Cruiser has been designed with practicality top of mind, with ample storage underneath seating in the cockpit and beneath the private berths.

The easy to use helm design allows you to take control either standing or from the comfort of the double helm seat.
Three optional packs even allow you to tailor your boat to your exact needs such as Cruising – including cool water shower and extended L seating; Deluxe Cruising – including sea toilet and 12V fridge; and Electronic – including a GPS system and stereo.
