YA releases NoRs for trio of upcoming match racing events

Yachting Australia has released the Notice of Race for three upcoming Australian Championships, the 2013 Australian Open Match Racing Championships, combined with the Australian Women’s Match Racing Championships, and the 2013 Australian Youth Match Racing Championship.

The two events will be held at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia in Sydney this September, with a high quality field expected for both Championships.

The Australian Open and Women’s Match Racing Championships will be held from Friday 20 to Tuesday 24 September 2013. The Championships is a combined event and all women’s teams will also participate as part of the Open Championship.

The Championships will include two round robins followed by semis and finals and a sail-off for minor placings if time permits. The Notice of Race can be downloaded here.

The Australian Youth Match Racing Championships will be held from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 September 2013. The Championships will also include two round robins followed by semis and finals with the Notice of Race available here.

The CYCA's new fleet of Elliott 7's will be used for the two Championships.
