ISAF Sailing World Cup Qingdao - Notice of Race now available

The 2013-2014 edition of the ISAF Sailing World Cup kicks off in Qingdao, China, from 12-19 October 2013, the first time the series will visit Asia.

For the first time at an ISAF Sailing World Cup, prize money will be up for grabs. Competitors across the six events will be vying for a podium position and their share of the 180,000USD prize money.

Six of the ten Olympic events will be contested in Qingdao, Men’s One Person Dinghy; Laser; Women’s One Person Dinghy, Laser Radial; Men’s and Women’s Two Person Dinghy, 470 and the Men’s and Women’s Windsurfer, RS:X. Boats are available to charter for the four dinghy events and travel funds are available for the windsurfing events.

Hosted at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Centre, ISAF is delighted to be returning to the venue of the spectacular 2008 Olympic Sailing Competition with racing taking place on the waters of Fushan Bay. The five day opening series will build to the final Medal Race stage on 19 October 2013.
