En escale technique à Lorient depuis samedi, le Multi50 Rennes Métropole - Saint-Malo Agglomération était en attente de la livraison de son nouvel alternateur ces derniers jours.

Finalement, la pièce, qui devait être livrée hier, est arrivée ce matin au port Morbihannais. Immédiatement, l'équipe de Gilles Lamiré s'est affairée à remonter le moteur cet après-midi. « A présent, l'ensemble est installé et rebranché. Il a également été testé. Nous avons procédé à une première charge. A présent, tout est remis dans sa configuration d'origine et tout semble ok » précise le skipper, évidement heureux que se monture soit de nouveau en configuration course.

« Nous allons prendre la mer ce soir pour rejoindre Lisbonne, ville de départ de la deuxième étape de la Route des Princes. Selon les derniers fichiers météo, nous ne devrions pas avoir beaucoup de vent pour descendre jusqu'au Portugal mais comme une brise de nord-ouest est annoncée, au moins il sera dans le bon sens » précise Gilles qui devrait donc arriver à destination entre dimanche et lundi prochain. « Nous sommes prêts et la perspective de prendre notre premier départ de course le 14 juin prochain nous réjouit » a terminé le navigateur Cancalais, un peu frustré, cependant, de ne pas avoir pu évaluer l'origine de la panne de son précédent générateur malgré différents tests. Pour l'heure, celle-ci reste donc un mystère.
