The Oman Sail project from day one, has always dreamed of seeing Omani sailors compete and then ultimately win sailing medals at the Olympic Games. Having proved itself on the International sailing stage in the Extreme Sailing Series, MOD 70, Tour De France de Voiles and the EFG Bank Sailing Arabia the Tour, it is now time to tackle one of the greatest pinnacles in the sport of sailing - the Olympic Games.

As it enters this new phase on its journey in sailing, there will be a new focus on qualifying an Omani sailor to participate at the Olympic Games, by fully committing to the International circuit to gain the experience and skills that will allow this development of the emerging Omani sailing talent.

This will take place initially in the singlehanded Laser class and also Oman Sail will support its Youth sailors as they gain International experience at events such as the ISAF Youth World Championship and events for the International Optimist class. To facilitate this, Oman Sail is looking to recruit a full time Laser Coach with a proven track record on the International Circuit and the ability to help on coach education, transfer of knowledge to the aspiring Omani coaches.

Details of the role can be found on the Oman Sail website with the closing date for applicants CV's is June 3rd 2013. With Oman Sail hosting the Laser Class World Championships, as well as the Masters and Youth Worlds in the November - January period, later this year, there has never been a better time to join the rapidly developing team at Oman Sail.

All CVs should be sent to myfuture@omansail.com quoting Laser Coach (LC-49)
