Newport International Boat Show dates set

Newport Exhibition Group announced today that its 43rd Annual Newport International Boat Show will take place September 12-15, 2013 on the Newport Waterfront along America’s Cup Avenue in Newport, Rhode Island. One of the largest in-water boat shows in the country, the Newport International Boat Show will host nearly 750 exhibitors from around the world with an exceptional assortment of boats of every type and style from 15 to 85 feet, and a wide variety of accessories, equipment, electronics, gear and services for boaters.

Expected to draw tens of thousands to historic Newport and all its charm, the event will showcase new products and boat models unveiled for the first time to the public, as well as announce the winners of the popular Newport For New Products program that recognizes the best new powerboat, sailboat and boating product introductions for the 2014 model year. Visitors will also enjoy opportunities to attend the third Annual Cruisers Party hosted by Cruising Outpost, and get out on the water with Discover Boating and the Hands On Skills Training Program.

Show hours will run from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 12th, Friday, September 13th and Saturday, September 14th, and from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 15th. Online tickets are available through the Newport International Boat Show website. Tickets for Thursday, September 12th, VIP Day, are $27 in advance and $30 on the day of the show. Admission for Friday, Saturday or Sunday, September 13th, 14th or 15th is $15 in advance and $18 on show days. Children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult each day of the show. On Friday only, visitors with a valid Military or Newport County Resident ID receive half price admission.
